Megaphone TV Wins Emmy and Receives Nomination for Participation TV Technology

NEW YORK (April 5, 2016) - During the 67th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy® Awards on September 12, 2015, Megaphone TV’s participation television technologies garnered an Emmy® win with Bravo TV’s “The Singles Project” in the “Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media: Multiplatform Storytelling” category, and an Emmy®  nomination for AMC’s “Talking Dead" in the category of  “Outstanding Interactive Program."

In “The Singles Project,” Megaphone TV technologies were an integral part of the on-air participation experience during Bravo TV’s ground breaking social driven, quick turnaround romance docu-series, with Megaphone TV-powered live polling and questions presented throughout the broadcast.

In “Talking Dead,” the live wrap-up show following the weekly premiere of “Walking Dead,” host Chris Hardwick invited the home audience to participate directly in the studio discussion through Megaphone TV-powered interactive questions and quiz games relating to plot points from the just-aired episode.

Megaphone TV has been selected as a featured company in Sprockit 2016, the National Association of Broadcasters’ annual program showcasing innovative emerging startups.  The company will be represented in the Sprockit booth in the North Hall, Booth N8635-8, during the 2016 NAB Convention in Las Vegas from April 18-21.
