MEGAPHONE TV’s MegaStars program shines a spotlight on the innovative ways that broadcasters are using interactivity in their programming. We want to applaud and share noteworthy features and segments from across the Megaphone family.
Our newest MegaStars are from KPNX Phoenix.
KPNX has created a deep, multifaceted integration with their sponsor, Earnhardt Auto Centers. Like any traditional sponsorship, the client receives logo placement both on-air and in-device. But KPNX has gone further to directly connect their sponsor to their viewers.
For one, KPNX changed the URL for their voting page to 12news.com/bullhorn to align with the client’s “No Bull” branding. Every time the station promotes their poll and asks viewers to vote in the daily “Bullhorn”, Earnhardt Auto Centers receive a verbal mention of their brand.
Additionally, after voting in a poll viewers receive a pop-up offer that links them to the client’s website at NoBull.com with just the touch of a button.
Megaphone is designed to connect your broadcast audience to your digital properties. They see engaging content in-show, and then they go to your website to participate. KPNX recently launched a new app, so to drive downloads they used Megaphone TV’s Pop-up App Install. After voting in a poll, viewers receive a pop-up offer that can connect them directly to Apple’s App Store or the Google Play Store. This enables KPNX to convert casual viewers directly into app users.
